Apple Yogurt Smoothie

This fresh and fruity combination of apple and orange blends with cool vanilla yogurt to make a refreshing afternoon boost.
This is a CACFP winter recipe for local dairy.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 5.7 oz Granny Smith apple cored, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoon local honey
  • 5-6 ice cubes

Method

Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Pour into glasses.
